January 12th.
Nanda has sent me some beautiful pictures of Makena in the snow, she loves it. Thank you Nanda. This is what she told me.
How is Mona Lisa doing. Is her tummy getting larger?
I read on Karin's site Monty doesn't like it in the snow.
Well Makena really loves it.
I couldn't keep her inside. The neighbors sat on a chair in front of the window to look at her.
Just running, jumping and running back and forth through the snow.Alleen maar rennen, springen en heen en weer gaan door de sneeuw.
She came inside with large chunks of snow on her and then I could wipe her with the towel (she really stands up for that) and after that back outside.
I'll send you some nice pictures.
Meanwhile this lady is almost three kilos and just as large as my other cat and not afraid for anything. She really challenges the other cat and chases her as well and as the starts to hiss she doesn't really care any more. Yes she is very brave.
But luckily she is also very sweet. Entire nights she lays next to me on the bed and during the evening she is laying on my lap.
I notice that her fur is starting to get a red glow and the spots are getting more visible but she keeps that blond ring around her neck. Very funny to see.
Thank you Nanda for all those nice pictures you're sending me. Makena has become very beautiful. From mom the red, from dad the spots. Mona Lisa is also doing well, she is big and round. Today is day 59 of her pregnancy. The kittens can be born any moment now. She also stays very close now. When I go downstairs she goes with me. She is also regularly asking for attention even at night. She likes being cuddled, she quickly found out the kittens get calm when I stroke her tummy which I can do often now.

Joost from Texel has sent me an update about Lizzy and together with her two Bengal friends and that is going fine. The three of them have lots of space in the nice hotel in Texel where they are being spoiled by their owners.
Dio was my last kitten who moved to her new personnel so I could see her grow up for a while to a very cuddly kitten. It wasn't easy to let her go, but I knew she would get a great home. This is what she wrote.
It's going very well with Dio. She's behaving like a real mother for Ferre.
For example, when Ferry is crying upstairs, Dio immediately goes listening to the baby phone. Sometimes she is even rubbing her head against it like she wants to comfort Ferre.
When Ferre is playing she wants to be close to him.
And she likes to lay on Ferre's chair which you can see on the pictures.
That's Dio. She has only grown more and has become sweeter then she already was.

Here not all the cats liked the snow. Of course Mona Lisa didn't participate because she is pregnant and I couldn't get Meneto outside. She doesn't like that white stuff at all. Mike and Macgyver loved it, especially when they saw a bird. Monty didn't like that white stuff on his feet either. Reighn and Makene walked so slowly it looked more like they were sneaking. As soon as they saw the door was open they ran upstairs where it was warm.
